Currently completing an MSc Tourism Management and Planning at Bournemouth University (The top ranked university for Tourism in the UK, according to The Times, 2007)

Conducting research into the affect tourism has on individuals who have returned from extended stays away from their home country

Working for Bournemouth Borough Council as a Tourist Information Advisor in a new initiative of mobile information provision for visitors to Bournemouth (in conjunction with Discover Dorset)

Prior to 2002, James worked in various roles in the private sector (recruitment, insurance, sales, customer service) and the public sector (fundraising, training, supporter care

James graduated in 1999 with a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Surrey, Roehampton

From 2002 until the beginning of 2006, James worked in China as a teacher of English in both private languge schools and in state funded universities and schools, intially as part of the British Council's Graduate 'Teach in China' program
