November 27th - Out Of Touch

Things are pretty hectic right now in terms of coursework deadlines needing to be met and to add to that I have a new project on the go.

Yes, I am about to re-enter the world of employment again in a position of strategic importance, involving the logistics of sensitive documents. I've had to sign the official secrets act.

That's right - I am going to star work in the post office on Friday!

Nights in December will never be the same again (at least not between the hours of 10pm and 5am - my graveyard shift) and days will certainly not be spent in classrooms listening to lectures...too much sleep to be had in daylight hours!

And pat on the back for me - last Friday, on a cold, wet and windy Bournemouth seafront, I ran my personal best 5k time. At least some of the hard work is paying off.

As I'm busying myself reading up on the finer points of corporate governance and the strategic effect it has on comaonies listed on the NY and London stock exchanges respectively, I'll ask you just one question...

November 12th - First Time For Everything

No more funny photos have come my way of late, so I thougth I better wrote something instead of holding out for one. Still, writing is something I;ve been getting a lot of practice at lately.

As I get older I definitely get more boring and maybe a little bit more mature...just maybe. I have a deadline of Monday 20th for my first masters degree assignment and I'v finished it one week early. I prmoise you, nothing like that has ever happened before. Never. Ever.

I'm not completely happy with it and will no doubt polish it up a bit in the next week, but I am pretty pleased with having read more books and journals for this one assignment than I did for my entire 3 year bachelors degree. No, really, that's no joke. Books alone for this assignment reached double figures. Beats the BSc on its own!

And another thing I've been getting good at lately...juggling! Yes, the first thing I have mastered on my masters course is how to juggle. No, not how to juggle coursework deadlines or how to juggle a number of tasks. Actual, plain old, 3 balls in the air at one time juggling. Again, I am deadly serious.

I thought I had been all efficient and hard working until I wrote that lsst sentence...

November 3rd - Another Kodak Moment

Now, I have always been quite fond of putting pictures up here, but 2 in 2 posts? A bit excessive? Maybe, especially considering that neither of them were taken by me.

But today's is so worth it.
